NCMIR Scientist Wins First in Nikon Small World Competition
September 2002— Tom Deerinck’s photomicrograph of a sagittal section of rat cerebellum placed first in the 28th Annual Nikon International Small World Competition. Fluorescence and confocal microscopy were used to achieve this image.
